Cabin A/C Evaporator Unit – Cold Air Core ❄️

This air conditioning core is the part inside the HVAC box that actually makes the cabin air cold. It is needed to remove heat and moisture from incoming air, so your windshield stays clear and the interior stays comfortable in hot, humid weather.

How It Works ⚙️

Refrigerant enters the evaporator as a low-pressure liquid and expands inside the thin tubes. As the blower pushes warm air through the fins, the refrigerant absorbs heat and turns into a gas. Moisture in the air condenses on the fins and drains away, which is why A/C also helps defogging.

Why Replacement Matters ✅

Over time, dust, corrosion, or acid from contaminated refrigerant can damage the core. Small leaks reduce cooling power and force the compressor to work harder.
