How it works ⚙️

A small link arm ties the sensor to the suspension. As the wheel moves, an internal potentiometer varies voltage. The control module reads this voltage and drives the headlight leveling motors to tilt the beam up or down in real time. Result: consistent road illumination without dazzling oncoming traffic.

If it’s broken ⚠️

Symptoms include warning light, beams too high/low, flickering aim, poor night vision, and possible inspection failure. You may see height-sensor range/performance codes. Prolonged driving can strain bulbs/ballasts. Replace promptly to restore correct aim and safety.
