Why you need it

How it works

Bolted to the flywheel, the diaphragm spring presses the pressure plate against the disc. When you press the pedal, the release bearing pushes the spring fingers, lifting the plate to disengage. Venting and a flat machined face manage heat and keep the clamp uniform .
