Information

Front wheel hub grease seal ?

This precision seal keeps lubricant inside the hub and blocks mud, sand, and water from the bearing area. It protects the front axle assembly, keeps brakes clean, and ensures quiet, smooth rotation on tough roads and off‑road tracks.

Why you need it ?️

Without a tight barrier, grease washes out, dust sneaks in, and bearings overheat. A healthy seal extends bearing life, maintains alignment, and prevents leaks onto the brake disc.

How it works

A metal-cased ring presses into the hub. Its spring‑loaded elastomer lip runs on the spindle seat, creating a constant contact film of oil. Dual lips and a dust ridge shed water while holding grease under load, speed, and temperature swings.

When worn or broken ⚠️

Signs include oily splash on the backing plate, humming at speed, play in the hub, ABS disturbances, and rusty residue. Ignore it and you risk bearing collapse, wheel wobble, overheated brakes, and costly hub or CV damage.

Fitment tips

Clean the seat, inspect the spindle, lightly oil the lip, drive square with a seal tool, and torque to spec. Never hammer the inner lip.
