Front Left Power Window Regulator Motor

How It Works

When you press the window switch, electrical current feeds the motor. The motor spins a small gear that drives the window regulator mechanism, guiding the glass along its tracks. A healthy motor keeps speed consistent, helps prevent glass tilt, and reduces strain on the switch and wiring .

What Happens If It Fails

If the motor is weak or damaged, the window may move slowly, stop halfway, or only work in one direction. You might hear clicking, grinding, or a buzzing sound with no movement. A failed unit can leave the window stuck open (risk of rain/theft) or stuck closed (no ventilation),and it can overload fuses or overheat the switch .
