Rear Propeller Shaft Center Support Bearing
This support bearing keeps the driveshaft aligned between gearbox and rear differential, stabilizing rotation and cutting vibration. A rugged rubber cushion holds a sealed bearing, which bolts to the chassis and cradles the shaft at the midpoint. The result is smooth torque delivery, less noise, and longer life for U‑joints and seals .
Why it’s needed
Without a healthy support, the shaft can flex under load. This part centers the shaft, absorbs drivetrain movement, and maintains correct angle, protecting the transmission tail housing and differential pinion.
How it works
A precision ball bearing spins with the shaft while the outer housing stays fixed. The rubber isolator filters harshness, keeping NVH low on acceleration, cruising, and decel.
