Engine Oil Cooler Feed Hose ️
This oil feed hose is a vital link between the engine’s oil circuit and the oil cooler. It is needed to carry hot, pressurized oil to the cooler so the lubricant stays at the right temperature during heavy load, towing, or off-road driving. When oil runs too hot, it thins out and protection drops fast.
How it works
The hose routes oil through a reinforced rubber line designed to handle heat, vibration, and constant pressure changes. Proper internal diameter and wall strength keep flow steady, helping the cooler remove excess heat before the oil returns to the engine.
If the hose is damaged ⚠️
Cracks, swelling, or loose fittings can cause oil seepage or sudden leaks. That may lead to low oil level, oil pressure warning, overheating oil, noisy lifters, bearing wear, and in worst cases engine seizure. Any wetness around the ends or oil smell after driving is a strong sign to replace it immediately.
