Rear Stabilizer Bracket for Mitsubishi Suspension
Why this part is needed
This rear sway bar bracket secures the stabilizer bar bushing to the subframe. It keeps the bar centered, so your car corners flatter, tracks straight, and stays quiet. When the clamp weakens from rust, fatigue, or impact, the bar can shift and handling suffers.
How it works
The steel saddle presses the rubber bushing around the anti-roll bar and bolts to the chassis. With the bar firmly anchored, torsion is transferred across the axle, reducing body roll and improving grip and stability. OEM-geometry ensures the correct bushing crush for smooth bar movement without play.
What happens if it’s broken
Clunks over bumps, rear-end sway in turns, vague steering, and uneven tire wear appear. The bar may rub exhaust or arms, chew up bushings and links, and elongate mounting holes—creating a safety risk and costlier repairs. ESC/ABS may intervene more often due to unstable rear traction. ⚠️
Tech notes
Replace in pairs, inspect/grease bushings, clean threads, use anti-seize on bolts, and tighten to service-manual torque. High-strength, anti-corrosion coated steel for long life. ✅
