Built for select Mitsubishi Lancer platforms, this heavy‑duty transmission mount bracket links the gearbox to the subframe . It carries drivetrain weight, controls engine torque, keeps shaft angles true, and lowers cabin vibration.
Why you need it
A precise support prevents the transmission from shifting under load. You get cleaner shifts, steadier idle, and longer life for mounts, axles, and exhaust.
How it works
A rigid steel arm bolts to the transmission case and to the rubber mount on the crossmember. It spreads load through reinforced flanges, isolating shock via the bushing while resisting shear and twist on rough roads .
If it’s damaged
Expect clunks on takeoff, buzz at idle or 40–60 mph, and thumps on gear changes ⚠️. Misalignment can stress CV joints, crack the mount, or even let the gearbox sag and contact the subframe.
Install notes
