Rocker Cover Gasket for Mitsubishi Engines
This precision rocker/valve cover gasket (OEM ref MD130494) seals the top of the cylinder head, keeping engine oil inside while the camshafts work. Built from heat‑resistant molded rubber, it maintains a tight seal around the cover perimeter, bolt grommets, and spark plug tube holes for clean, dry operation and long service life.
Why this gasket is needed
It prevents oil leaks, protects ignition components from contamination, and stabilizes crankcase ventilation. A healthy seal helps maintain correct oil level, reduces smells and smoke, and keeps the engine bay tidy—key for reliability and resale.
How it works
When the cover is torqued to spec, the gasket compresses evenly, filling micro-gaps in the head and cover. Strategic RTV dots at cam cap corners complement the gasket where sharp transitions occur, ensuring leak-free sealing under heat, vibration, and pressure pulses.

Fitment & install tips
