Why itβs needed
Without a healthy belt, the compressor cannot engage. That means weak or no cooling, slow defogging, and extra strain on related pulleys. A fresh belt restores quiet operation and proper A/C performance.
How it works
The Vβprofile wedges into pulley grooves. Friction and correct tension transfer crankshaft rotation to the compressor. Modern EPDM rubber resists heat, ozone, and glazing. Proper tension prevents chirps and slip under load.
Signs of wear
- Squeal at start or when A/C clicks on
