This precision lip seal protects the front hub on Toyota SUVs and pickups. It keeps gear oil and grease where they belong, while blocking mud, water, and dust ️. Why this part is needed
Without a tight seal, hub bearings dry out, CV splines corrode, and differential oil migrates. A fresh seal restores lubrication control, extends bearing life, and prevents costly knuckle and spindle wear.
How it works
A spring-loaded elastomer lip rides on the spindle/axle journal, creating a dynamic oil barrier. The outer shell locks into the hub/knuckle bore. Under rotation, the lip maintains uniform contact, returning oil inward and purging contaminants outward. Heat- and oil‑resistant rubber ensures stable sealing in harsh duty.
