Front Hub Outer Oil Seal RH/LH for Toyota 4x4/Truck/SUV ️

This precision hub seal keeps lubricant in and contamination out at the outer side of the front axle hub. It protects wheel bearings, spindle surfaces, and 4WD components, ensuring quiet operation and long service life. Fits right or left side and is built to OE dimensions for a perfect seat and runout.

Why you need it

It retains grease or diff oil inside the hub and blocks water, mud, and dust. Off‑road use, deep puddles, and winter salt quickly destroy unprotected bearings. This seal is your first defense against corrosion, noise, and premature wear.

How it works ️

A steel-cased, spring‑loaded elastomer lip rides on the hub/axle journal. The primary lip holds oil; a secondary dust lip shields from debris. Micro ribs return fluid to the bearing, while correct interference keeps the seal stable under heat and load.

What happens if it fails ⚠️

Grease or oil leaks onto brakes, causing reduced stopping power and vibrations. Bearings overheat and hum, the CV and spindle wear, ABS rings get contaminated, and 4WD engagement can become unreliable.

Tech & install tips

OE-grade NBR/Viton compound resists heat and chemicals. Replace in pairs, inspect the journal for grooves, clean the bore, lightly oil the lip, and press square—no hammering. Torque bearings to spec and recheck after a short drive.
