Front Hub Dust Seal for Toyota — RH/LH ️
This precision seal protects the front wheel bearing on Toyota models. It keeps road dust, sand, and water out, and holds grease inside the hub. Built with a metal shell and oil‑resistant rubber, it works on right or left side and fits snug in the hub housing.
Why you need it
Wheel bearings live only when clean and lubricated. This seal blocks contamination during daily use, off‑road, rain, or snow. It also prevents grease from escaping, so the bearing runs cool and quiet.
How it works ⚙️
A reinforced case presses into the hub. The inner lip rides on the spindle surface. A tension spring keeps even contact, forming a tight barrier. The dust lip sheds mud and splash while the main lip seals lubricant.
When it fails ⚠️
Expect grease leaks, humming or growling at speed, uneven wheel play, rusty bearings, and ABS sensor contamination. Ignore it and the bearing can seize, damage the hub, and stress brakes and CV components.
Install tips ✅
Clean the bore and shaft. Lightly oil the lip. Press in square with a seal driver—do not hammer. Face the dust lip outward, pack bearing with quality high‑temp grease, and torque the axle nut to spec.
