How it works ⚙️

Pressed into the head, each half-shell forms a smooth bore. Engine oil feeds through holes and grooves, creating a hydrodynamic film that carries load between the journal and bearing. This film prevents metal-to-metal contact, controls temperature, and lowers noise.
