Front Lower Control Arm Bushing
This OEM‑grade rubber‑metal mount restores factory feel in the front suspension of many Isuzu SUVs and pickups. It locates the lower arm, keeps wheel alignment steady, and filters road shock and engine vibration. The core is vulcanized elastomer bonded to corrosion‑resistant inner and outer sleeves, built to factory geometry for quiet, precise steering and a stable ride .
Why this part is needed ✅
It holds camber and caster under braking, cornering, and load. It cushions small bumps, cuts noise, and prevents harsh kickback at the steering wheel. With fresh bushings, tires wear evenly and the vehicle tracks straight.
How it works
The bushing is press‑fit in the arm. A bolt passes through the inner sleeve to the subframe. The rubber twists slightly as the arm moves, allowing controlled pivot while isolating metal‑to‑metal contact.
What happens if it fails ⚠️
Clunks over bumps, wandering at highway speed, brake shimmy, and uneven tire wear appear. Alignment will not hold. In severe wear, sleeves separate, causing harsh vibration and poor control.
Install tips
Press in square; do not lubricate the rubber. Torque bolts at ride height. Replace in pairs and perform a wheel alignment after fitting.
