Premium Oxygen Sensor for Toyota Engines

Why you need it
In closed-loop operation, the ECU relies on this sensor to trim fuel. A healthy sensor prevents rich or lean running, protects the catalyst, and maintains reliable cold starts.
How it works
A heated zirconia element creates a voltage (about 0.1–0.9 V) based on O₂ difference between exhaust and outside air. The built-in heater speeds warm-up, so feedback control begins quickly. The ECU then adjusts injector pulse width in real time.
When it fails ⚠️
Expect Check Engine light, high fuel use, rough idle, weak acceleration, sulfur smell, sooty tailpipe, and failed emissions tests. Prolonged faults can overheat and ruin the catalytic converter—an expensive repair.
Installation tips
Fit on a cold exhaust. Use O₂-safe anti-seize on threads (avoid sensor tip). Tighten to spec, route the harness away from heat, and click the connector fully. After install, clear codes and verify closed-loop operation at hot idle.
