    Why you need it

    How it works

    A 12V DC motor spins a balanced fan wheel inside a precision housing. The shroud channels air into the duct network, while a resistor or control module sets speed. Sealed bearings and an OE-style connector ensure smooth start-up, steady amperage draw, and stable performance across all fan settings.

    What happens if it’s broken

    Expect weak or no airflow, only one speed working, squeals or rattles, hot electrical smell, or blown fuses. AC may feel warm at idle, the cabin fogs easily, and the windshield takes too long to clear. A dragging motor can overheat the resistor and wiring, stressing the battery and HVAC controls ⚠️.
