Rear‑Left Front Door Window Frame Trim ️

This exterior moulded strip sits on the rear vertical edge of the front door window frame (left side). It closes the gap between glass and frame, guides water away, and calms airflow. The piece also hides the pinch weld, protecting paint from sun, road grit, and car‑wash brushes for a clean, factory look.

Why you need it

With age, the original trim dries, warps, or fades. A fresh unit restores a tight seal, reduces wind noise, and prevents water tracking into the door. It also refreshes appearance, matching the OE contour and finish.

How it works

Preformed plastic with UV‑stable coating locks to the frame via clips/tabs (and, on some versions, thin tape). Working together with the belt moulding and weatherstrip, it smooths the glass edge, deflects rain, and reduces turbulence at highway speeds.

If the part is damaged ️

Expect whistling at speed, water drip marks on the B‑pillar, glass streaks, rattles over bumps, and exposed metal that can start to corrode. Over time, leaks may affect window regulators and door speakers.

Install tips

Clean the channel, test‑fit, then press from bottom to top. Replace brittle clips; use mild heat to seat curves. Typical time: 15–25 minutes.
