Front Left Door Belt Moulding (Outer Window Seal)
This exterior door belt moulding fits along the top edge of the front left door, right where the window glass meets the door skin. Its job is simple but critical: it keeps water, dust, sand, and road grime from dropping into the door cavity, while also reducing wind noise for a tighter, quieter cabin.
Why This Part Is Needed ✅
Every time the window goes up and down, the glass drags past this strip. The built-in lip wipes the glass surface and shields the inner door from moisture. On off-road SUVs, it’s especially important because fine dust can quickly work into window guides and regulators.
How It Works
The moulding clips to the door and presses a flexible sealing edge against the window glass. That light pressure acts like a squeegee, guiding water outward and preventing debris from collecting inside the door where it can cause rust and sticky window movement.
