Left Front Door Beltline Molding (Outer Window Weatherstrip)
This trim strip sits at the base of the front window on the driver’s side. It seals the gap between the glass and the door skin, giving a clean beltline finish and protecting the inner door from water, dust, and road grit. A fresh strip keeps the cabin quiet, the glass scratch‑free, and the door internals safe from corrosion.
Why you need it ✅
Over time, sun, heat, and car wash chemicals harden the rubber and fade the finish. When it cracks or shrinks, water runs into the door, leading to foggy glass, noisy drives, and accelerated wear of window regulators and speakers.
How it works ⚙️
The molded rubber lip gently wipes the window as it moves, while the rigid spine clips to the door flange. It sheds rain away from the beltline, blocks wind, and reduces glass chatter. Proper tension keeps the glass stable at speed.

Install notes
