    Rear Roof Drip Trim Molding for Toyota SUV Roofline

    Why this part is needed

    This roof channel molding guides rain and wash water away from the rear roof seam and tailgate. It protects paint at the gutter, reduces wind noise, and helps keep the headliner and cargo area dry. It also finishes the roofline for a clean factory look.

    How it works

    A shaped elastomer profile locks into OE roof clips along the gutter. Its contoured edge channels water rearward past the hatch, while a flexible lip closes micro-gaps between roof panel and side frame. A slim internal spine maintains form at speed. UV- and ozone-stable material resists chalking and shrinkage for long service.

    What happens if it’s damaged

    Cracks, shrink-back, or loose sections cause drip lines on the C-pillar, wind whistle, wet headliner, and early corrosion at the roof seam. Off-road spray or car-wash pressure can force water inside, staining trims and degrading adhesives. Long term, rust and clip fatigue follow.

    Install notes

    Direct fit. Remove old strip, clean the channel, align, then press in from rear forward with a plastic tool. Warm gently for flexibility. Adhesive isn’t needed if clips are intact.
