Left Windshield Outer Moulding – A‑Pillar Trim
Restore factory sealing and quiet with this outside left-hand (LH) windshield side trim. It finishes the glass edge, shields the urethane bond from sun and grit, and smooths airflow along the A‑pillar for lower wind noise and a clean, OEM look.
Why this part is needed ️
Without a tight outer garnish, rain and dust creep toward the cabin, noise rises, and the bond line ages early. This molding/moulding keeps water out, protects paint, and maintains original aerodynamics and appearance, especially after glass work or aging trim.
How it works
Precision‑molded, UV‑stable polymer clips to factory retainers on the left A‑pillar and windshield edge. Integrated tabs and a shaped lip direct water to the gutter and lock the trim flush with the glass. Correct stiffness resists flutter at speed and reduces wind hiss.
If it’s cracked or missing ⚠️
Expect whistling above 40 mph, rattles, streaking leaks in heavy rain, and possible corrosion on the pillar. Prolonged exposure can weaken the glass adhesive line and let debris scratch the windshield edge, risking costly repairs.
Fitment and install tips
Use new clips, clean the channel, and press upward from the cowl to the roof. Warm the part slightly for best conformity; do not stretch or over-bend. Verify an even gap to the glass for a true OEM‑quality seal and durable finish.
