Front Left Outer Trim End Cap ️

This small exterior finishing cap is fitted on the front left side of the vehicle trim/rail area. It is needed to close the open end of the molding, giving the body line a clean factory look while also shielding the trim channel from dust, water, and road salt.

How It Works

The cap locks into the end of the trim using molded clips and a tight contour match. Once seated, it stabilizes the edge of the molding so it won’t flutter at speed, and it helps guide water away from the trim cavity. Proper fit prevents vibration noises and keeps the trim aligned with the panel gaps.

What Happens If It’s Broken

A cracked or missing cap can allow moisture and grit to enter the trim, leading to stains, corrosion around mounting points, and loosened molding over time. You may notice wind noise, rattling, uneven trim edges, or the molding starting to lift—especially after car washes or highway driving .
