Information
Rear Door Inner Window Weatherstrip (LH) β Premium Seal for Quiet, Dry Rides οΈ
This left-hand rear door glass inner seal keeps your cabin protected from water, dust, and wind. It sits along the beltline, hugging the glass as it moves. The rubber lip and felt edge wipe the pane clean, guide the window smoothly, and block road noise. A healthy weather strip also shields the regulator, wiring, and speakers from moisture, extending their life .
Why you need this part οΈ
Over time, UV, heat, and ozone harden the rubber. The edge can crack or shrink, leaving gaps. Replacing the strip restores proper sealing, reduces whistling, and stops leaks. It also prevents scratches on the glass and keeps the door cavity dry.
How it works
The backbone clips to the door flange. The soft lip presses lightly against the window. As you raise or lower the glass, the lip wipes debris away while maintaining a tight barrier. This is also called a window belt molding or inner window seal.
What happens if itβs broken β
You may notice wet carpets, foggy windows, mildew smell, rattles, and wind noise at speed. The glass can get scratched, the window may move slow, and the regulator can fail early. In winter, the glass may freeze to the strip, stressing the mechanism βοΈ.
Quick install tips
Remove old clips carefully, clean the flange, seat the new strip evenly without stretching, then cycle the window to confirm smooth travel .
