Information
Left Inner Front Door Window Belt Seal
Keep your cabin dry, quiet, and clean. This inner belt weatherstrip sits on the top edge of the front door trim (left side) and presses gently against the glass. It wipes away water and grit as the window moves, blocks wind noise, and stabilizes the pane to prevent rattles. Designed for precise fit and durable sealing, it keeps your ride feeling solid and new.
Why you need it β
Without a healthy inner seal, rain and wash water slip into the door, dust creeps in, and the window can squeak or scratch. Youβll hear whistling at speed, see streaks on the glass, and the regulator may wear faster due to extra drag.
How it works βοΈ
An EPDM rubber profile with flocked (felted) liner hugs the glass. A firm spine clips to the door garnish. As the glass moves, the felt sweeps contaminants while the lip maintains even pressure, cutting wind and channeling moisture away.
What happens if itβs damaged β οΈ
- Water leaks, interior fogging, and door corrosion risk
- Glass rattle, chatter, and scratch lines
- Wind whistle, dust ingress, and tired-looking belt line
- Slow or binding window travel
Install tips
- Remove clips carefully; clean the belt line
- Seat evenly end-to-end; test window up/down
- Light silicone on felt for first cycles
- Best practice: replace left/right as a pair
