Outer Left Front Door Window Seal for Toyota
This OE-style beltline window seal fits the outside of the left front door. It keeps your cabin quiet and dry, wipes the glass as it moves, and preserves the finish of both glass and paint. Perfect for restoring factory look and stopping wind whistle on Toyota Estima/Previa variants.
Why this seal is needed ️
It blocks rain, wash water, dust, and grit; reduces wind noise; stabilizes the glass to prevent rattle and scratches; and shields the door regulator, speakers, and wiring from moisture. A healthy seal means smoother window travel and a cleaner wipe every cycle.
How it works ⚙️
A molded EPDM rubber lip on a rigid carrier snaps to the outer belt molding. The lip rides against the tempered glass, wiping contaminants away and directing water to the outside skin. UV- and ozone-resistant materials keep elasticity, ensuring correct contact pressure across the full stroke.
What happens if it’s damaged ️
Cracks, shrinkage, or a loose edge lead to water ingress, wet carpets, foggy windows, wind whistle, and corrosion inside the door. You may see glass scratches, streaks, slow or noisy window movement, and freezing in cold weather.
Fitment and install notes
Clip-off/clip-on job: remove old belt molding carefully, clean the flange, then seat the new piece from mirror base toward the rear. Warm the rubber for easier seating. Do not kink the carrier; verify even contact and test window up/down.
