Inner Stabilizer Assembly for Subaru Suspension

This component is the inner mount that secures the sway (anti‑roll) bar to the chassis. It locks the bar in place with a cushioned bushing and a strong bracket, keeping your Subaru flat, quiet, and predictable on turns and rough roads.

Why this part is needed ️

It reduces body roll, sharpens steering response, and maintains tire contact. A healthy mount protects tires from cupping, improves comfort, and helps stability control work correctly. It’s a small part with a big safety role.

How it works ⚙️

The U‑shaped sway bar twists as the car leans. The inner assembly clamps the bar with a rubber (or synthetic) bushing, letting it rotate smoothly while resisting side‑to‑side movement. The bracket spreads load into the subframe.

What happens if it breaks ⚠️

Expect clunks over bumps, extra body roll, vague steering, and uneven tire wear. A torn bushing lets the bar slide; a rusted or bent bracket can shift alignment points and lengthen braking on corners. Left unchecked, links and tires wear faster.

Tech tips for fitting

Install and torque at ride height, use silicone-safe grease if specified, and inspect links and bar for play. Replace mounts in pairs for even handling.
