Rear Stabilizer Link Assembly (Right/Left)
This suspension link is a small but critical connector between the rear anti-roll bar and the suspension arm/strut. It’s needed to keep the vehicle stable in corners, reduce body roll, and help the rear end stay planted during quick lane changes.
How it works
⚙️ Inside the link are ball-joint style pivots that let the suspension move up and down while transferring twisting force from the stabilizer bar. When one rear wheel compresses more than the other, the bar resists that difference and the link delivers that resistance to the suspension—improving balance and steering feel.
Signs the part is failing
A worn link can cause clunking over bumps, extra body sway, uneven handling, and a “loose” rear sensation at speed. You may also notice torn dust boots, rusted studs, or play in the joints.
What happens if it breaks
⚠️ If the link snaps or the joint separates, the anti-roll bar can’t do its job properly. The car may lean more in turns, feel unstable on rough roads, and put extra stress on other suspension parts. Replacing it restores safe, tight handling and quieter driving.
