Front Sway Bar Bracket Bushing RH/LH for Stable, Quiet Steering
Keep your SUV flat in corners and calm on rough roads. This front stabilizer bracket bushing secures the anti-roll bar to the chassis, right or left side, restoring factory handling and comfort. Made to OE spec for precise fit in the lower clamp, it cuts body roll, filters vibration, and removes that annoying front-end rattle.
Why this part is needed οΈ
The stabilizer bar controls lean in turns. Its bracket bushing is the cushion and pivot. When fresh, it keeps the bar centered, allows smooth twist, and transfers force evenly to the linksβresulting in safer cornering and straight-line stability.
How it works
A shaped elastomer sleeve wraps the bar and sits inside the bracket. When you steer, the bar twists inside the bushing. The material compresses slightly, preventing metal-to-metal contact, dampening harshness, and stopping lateral movement.
If worn or broken β οΈ
- Clunking over bumps, squeaks at low speed
- Wandering steering, extra body roll
- Uneven tire wear and longer braking distances
- Premature sway bar link and bracket damage
Tech notes βοΈ
- Replace in pairs (RH/LH) for balance
- Torque brackets with vehicle on its wheels
- Use silicone grease only; avoid petroleum
- Check bar diameter; match bushing size
