Rear Axle Carrier Bushing RH/LH for Toyota Compact Platforms

This suspension mount sits between the rear axle carrier and the body. It centers the carrier, absorbs road shocks, and keeps wheel alignment stable. You need it to keep the car tracking straight, reduce noise and vibration, and protect tires and bearings. A healthy bushing means a quiet ride and confident braking on rough roads. βœ…

How it works

The part is a metal shell with a bonded rubber core. Press-fit into the carrier, it allows small, controlled movement in vertical and lateral directions. The rubber isolates harshness, while its shape and durometer hold geometry under load in turns and during braking.

If the bushing is worn or broken ⚠️

You may hear thumps over bumps, feel rear-end steer, and notice uneven tire wear. The car can wander at highway speeds, brake distances may grow, and stability control may cut in early. Visual signs: cracked or torn rubber, offset sleeve, or metal-to-metal contact. Replace in pairs (RH/LH) for balanced handling.

Tech tips ️

Use a press and correct drivers, mark orientation, torque fasteners at ride height, then do a 4-wheel alignment. Apply anti-corrosion coating to the bore for longer life.
