Front Right Upper Suspension Control Arm Assembly

This front upper control arm on the right-hand (RH) side is a key link between the chassis and the front steering knuckle. It is needed to keep the wheel sitting at the correct angle while the suspension moves up and down over bumps.

Why this part is needed

The upper arm helps control camber and caster, keeps the tire flat on the road, and supports stable steering feel. It also carries a ball joint and rubber bushings that absorb vibration and allow smooth movement.

How it works

As the wheel travels, the arm pivots on its bushings and the ball joint lets the knuckle turn left/right for steering. This design keeps alignment within spec, reduces tire scrub, and improves braking control on uneven roads.

What happens if it’s worn or broken

⚠️ A damaged arm, bushing, or ball joint can cause clunking, wandering steering, uneven tire wear, pulling during braking, and poor alignment. In severe cases the ball joint can separate, making the vehicle unsafe to drive.

Fitment & service note

Always check alignment after replacement and inspect the opposite side for equal wear. βœ
