Rear Suspension Shock Absorber for Rugged 4x4 Duty

Keep your SUV steady, comfortable, and safe on-road and off-road. This OEM-grade rear damper controls body movement, reduces bounce, and keeps tires planted, especially with cargo or towing. It restores factory ride quality and confidence in curves, braking, and rough tracks.

Why this part is needed

Shocks manage vertical wheel motion so the body stays stable. Good dampers improve steering response, shorten braking distance, and protect chassis parts. They also prevent tire cupping and reduce wear on bushings and mounts.

How it works βš™οΈ

Inside is a piston moving through oil, metered by valves. Motion energy becomes heat in the fluid, controlling upstroke and downstroke. A gas charge helps prevent foaming for consistent damping. Rubber bushings isolate noise and absorb small vibrations. Designed to bolt to the rear right or left side with exact stroke and valving matched to the vehicle’s weight.

If the shock is worn or broken ⚠️

Expect extra bouncing, nose dive, and rear squat. Stopping distance grows, traction drops, and stability systems may intervene more. You may see oil leaks, clunks over bumps, and uneven tire wear. Continued driving can stress springs and mounts.

Fitment notes

Direct bolt-on for rear RH/LH. Replace in pairs, torque to spec, and check alignment after installation.
