Information
Front Spring Bumper Stop (No.1) for Toyota Suspension
This suspension bumper stop is a small but vital rubber cushion fitted near the front coil/leaf spring travel area. It is needed to limit suspension compression and protect key parts when the wheel hits potholes, curbs, or carries heavy loads.
How It Works ⚙️
As the suspension moves upward, the stop contacts the axle/control arm at the end of travel. It absorbs the last impact, reduces metal-to-metal contact, and helps keep ride height control stable under sudden bumps.
Why You Need a Healthy One ✅
A good bumper stop reduces harsh bottoming, protects the spring seat, shocks/struts, and mounting points, and keeps the front end quieter and more controlled on rough roads.
What Happens If It’s Broken ❌
If cracked, missing, or squashed flat, the suspension can bottom out. You may notice loud clunks, vibration, faster shock wear, bent brackets, and uneven tire wear—especially when loaded or off-road.
