Front Camber Alignment Adjuster ⚙️
This suspension adjuster is used to set the front wheel camber angle correctly. It is a small but important alignment part that helps the technician move the suspension position during wheel alignment. Correct camber keeps the tyre flat on the road, improves steering feel, and helps the car drive straight without pulling to one side.
Why This Part Is Needed 🚗
After suspension repair, impact with a pothole, tyre wear issues, or chassis service, the front wheel angle may go out of specification. This cam-type adjuster allows accurate correction of that angle. Without it, proper alignment may not be possible, especially on vehicles with double wishbone or multi-link style front suspension.
How It Works 🔧
The eccentric cam shape changes the mounting position when rotated. As the bolt is turned, the suspension arm shifts slightly, changing camber in small controlled steps. Once the correct setting is reached, the bolt is tightened to lock the position firmly.
If It Is Worn Or Damaged ⚠️
A damaged adjuster can cause unstable alignment, uneven tyre wear, steering pull, clunking noise, or difficulty setting camber on the alignment machine. Rusted or seized cams may also prevent adjustment and should be replaced during suspension service.
