Lower Front Spring Pad for Suspension ️
This precision spring pad sits under the front coil and cushions the contact with the seat. It keeps the spring centered, quiet, and at correct height. Built from durable elastomer, it resists road salt, heat, and repeated compression—ideal for spirited driving or daily use .
Why you need it
Without a proper insulator, the coil digs into metal, causing noise, vibration, and uneven load on the perch. This pad preserves ride comfort, protects the spring end, and stabilizes steering by isolating harsh impacts.
How it works
Mounted on the lower seat, the pad spreads coil pressure, dampens micro-movements, and eliminates metal-to-metal contact. It also helps seal out grit, reducing wear. Designed to fit both sides for balanced suspension performance.
If it’s worn or missing ⚠️
- Clunking and squeaks over bumps
- Steering shimmy and harsh ride
- Sagging corner or uneven ride height
- Damaged spring seat and early coil fatigue
Tech tips
Replace in pairs on the front axle. Inspect coil ends, clean the perch, align the tail of the spring to its notch, and torque fasteners at normal ride height. Avoid petroleum grease; use silicone if needed.
