Information

Left-Hand Disc Brake Caliper Cylinder for Toyota 4x4

This LH caliper piston assembly restores strong, straight, and quiet braking on heavy-duty Toyota SUVs. Built to OEM spec, it delivers stable hydraulic pressure, even pad wear, and reliable release under heat, mud, and towing. Precision-bored housing, plated piston, high‑temp seals, dust boot, and a service bleeder keep stopping power consistent mile after mile.

Why you need it ️

It keeps braking balanced on the left wheel, prevents pull, and protects rotors and pads. Fresh sealing prevents fluid loss and air entry, giving you a firm pedal and shorter stopping distance.

How it works

Press the pedal and brake fluid pushes the piston outward. Pads clamp the disc; friction slows the vehicle. The square-cut seal flexes and retracts the piston slightly when you release, avoiding drag. The bleeder valve lets you purge trapped air for a solid pedal.

Failure signs & risks ⚠️

Leak marks, soft or sinking pedal, pull to the right, uneven pad wear, hot wheel, squeal or grinding, longer stops. Driving with a bad unit can warp the rotor, overheat pads, and increase stopping distance.

Install tips ✅

Clean the bracket, lube slide pins with high‑temp silicone, torque to spec, use correct DOT fluid, and bleed per service manual. Bed new pads and inspect rotors for thickness and runout.
