OEM Vacuum Brake Booster + Master Cylinder for Toyota SUV οΈ
Restore strong, predictable braking on demanding routes. This integrated unit combines a vacuum booster and a dual-circuit master cylinder to deliver firm pedal feel, shorter stopping distance, and reliable pressure for ABS. Ideal for heavy 4x4 duty where consistent braking torque is critical.
Why you need it
Over time, diaphragms harden, seals wear, and internal valves leak. Replacing the assembly refreshes assist power and hydraulic integrity at once, eliminating hard or inconsistent pedal and reducing brake fade in repeated stops.
How it works
A vacuum diaphragm multiplies your foot force and drives a pushrod. The rod moves the master cylinder pistons, converting assist into hydraulic pressure for front and rear circuits. A check valve stores vacuum, keeping assist stable even during throttle. Result: smooth, linear pedal and balanced clamping force.
If it fails
Expect a hard pedal, longer stopping distance, hissing from the booster, engine idle changes (vacuum leak), spongy or sinking pedal from worn seals, uneven braking, and brake warning lights. Fluid at the firewall indicates internal master cylinder leakage.
