Steering Rack Dust Boot (Rack Gaiter) – OEM‑grade Protection ️

Shield your steering rack from grit, water, and road salt with this heavy‑duty boot. Made from oil‑resistant rubber with deep bellows, it seals the rack housing and inner tie rod area, keeping grease clean and components moving smoothly. Perfect fitment ensures quiet, precise steering on and off the road .

Why this part is needed

Every turn creates motion and heat at the rack and pinion. Without a proper boot, dust and moisture attack the inner tie rod and rack seals, speeding up wear. This cover prevents contamination, helps retain lubrication, and extends the life of the steering system.

How it works

The flexible bellows expand and compress with steering travel. Tight lips and clamps lock onto the rack tube and inner tie rod, forming a barrier while allowing free movement. It also equalizes air volume to avoid pressure spikes during full lock ️.
