Why you need it

The disc is the working surface for the rear caliper and pads. A fresh, flat rotor keeps pedal feel firm, shortens stopping distance, prevents pad glazing, and reduces noise. Replace when thickness is below spec, surface is heat-checked, or when you feel vibration.

How it works ⚙️

Press the pedal and hydraulic pressure squeezes the pads onto the disc. The rotor converts vehicle speed into heat and releases it to the air. Correct metallurgy and balanced mass fight fade and warping for repeatable stops.

If it fails
