Right‑Side Subframe Cushion Rubber for Subaru Suspension ️

This right‑hand cushion mount sits between the body and the front crossmember/subframe. It isolates noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), keeps the subframe centered, and protects wheel alignment under load. Upgrading to fresh, OEM‑grade rubber restores tight steering feel, clean handling, and a quiet ride.

Why you need it ✅

With age, heat, and road salt, the elastomer hardens or cracks. Small gaps let the subframe shift during braking or cornering. A new cushion seals those gaps, reduces shake, and stops the annoying clunk on bumps—essential for safety and comfort.

How it works

A bonded rubber core around a metal sleeve is pressed into its carrier. It works in shear and compression, allowing controlled micro‑movement while damping road shocks and drivetrain buzz. This keeps geometry stable and prevents stress from transferring to the chassis.

What happens if it’s bad ⚠️

  • Clunking over bumps; thud on take‑off
  • Steering wander and poor tracking
  • Brake shimmy and vibration at speed
  • Uneven tire wear from subframe shift
  • Metal‑to‑metal contact; possible inspection fail

Service tips

Press in/out with proper support; torque bolts at ride height. Replace in pairs and check alignment after installation.
