Front Stabilizer Bar Bushing (Suspension)
This small rubber mount is a big deal for ride control. It supports the front anti-roll (stabilizer) bar where it is clamped to the chassis. When you corner, brake, or hit uneven road, the stabilizer bar twists. This bushing keeps that motion smooth, quiet, and properly centered β
Why this part is needed ?
Suspension parts must move, but not rattle. The bushing cushions the stabilizer bar, reduces vibration, and helps the front end stay stable in turns. It also protects the bar and brackets from metal-to-metal wear.
How it works βοΈ
The bushing grips the bar with a snug fit. As the bar twists, the rubber flexes and returns to shape, allowing controlled movement while keeping alignment. Good material quality prevents swelling, cracking, and squeaks over time.
What happens if itβs worn or broken β
A damaged bushing can cause clunking over bumps, steering looseness, and extra body roll. In severe cases the bar shifts, stressing links and brackets, leading to uneven handling and faster suspension wear. Replace it to restore quiet, firm cornering and OEM-style stability.
Fitment tip ?
Always match the bushing to stabilizer bar diameter, and inspect brackets and end links during service for best results.
