This precision seal keeps gear oil inside the differential and keeps dust, water, and road grit out. It sits where the CV/drive shaft enters the housing, locking in lubrication for gears and bearings. Why it’s needed ️

How it works

When it’s bad

Signs include wet inner hub, drops of oil under the truck, burnt gear smell, humming from the diff, and messy CV boot. Continued driving can destroy bearings, gears, and seals, leading to costly differential repair.
