Why you need it
This hub supports vehicle weight, centers the wheel, and keeps the brake rotor running true. It holds the wheel studs, keeps alignment steady, and delivers smooth rotation—vital for safe steering, braking, and tire life on road and off-road.
How it works
Inside is a sealed, pre‑greased bearing running on hardened races. The axle drives the inner race while the hub flange carries the wheel. Many versions include an ABS tone ring so the sensor reads wheel speed correctly, keeping traction and ABS systems accurate.

Common signs are humming that grows with speed, steering play, vibration, uneven tire wear, hot hub, ABS light, or brake pulsation. Left ignored, the bearing can seize or loosen, causing rotor misalignment, longer stopping distance, and in extreme cases, wheel separation.
Fitting tips ✅
Clean the knuckle face, apply anti‑seize to the mating surface, use new hub bolts and axle nut, and torque to spec. Align the ABS connector, spin-check for smoothness, road-test, then recheck torque.
