Speedometer Driven Gear for Toyota AT Gearboxes
This precision gear links the transmission output to your speedometer and odometer. It turns road speed into a clean signal for the cluster, ECU, cruise control, and ABS/VSC. You need it to keep speed readings true, shift timing correct, and mileage tracking honest. A worn or wrong-tooth gear skews data, which can hurt drivability and fuel economy.

The helical gear meshes with the transmissionβs output shaft. As it spins, it drives the speedo pinion or vehicle speed sensor. The ratio is matched to axle gearing and tire size for accuracy. What If It Breaks
