Engine Oil Sump Assembly — Precision OEM Fit ️

This under-engine sump stores and manages the lifeblood of your motor—engine oil. Built to OEM geometry, it seals to the block with a gasket, supports the drain plug, and helps cool oil by spreading heat to airflow under the car. Rigid walls and internal baffles keep the pickup tube fed during braking and cornering, protecting bearings and timing components.

Why you need it ️

A correct oil pan keeps oil where it belongs, prevents starvation, and makes service clean and easy. Dents, corrosion, or stripped plug threads risk leaks and pressure loss.

How it works

Bolted to the crankcase, it forms the reservoir. Oil returns by gravity, pools in the pan, then the pump draws it through the pickup screen. The drain plug allows complete fluid changes; the flange and gasket ensure a tight seal.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Expect puddles, oil smell on exhaust, low pressure warnings, lifter noise, and possible bearing damage. A cracked or crushed sump can starve the engine in seconds.

Tech notes

Inspect for warping, clean mating surfaces, use new gasket/sealant as specified, and torque in sequence. Replace if dented near the pickup or if threads are damaged.
