Precision Clutch Cover for Subaru Manual Transmission βš™οΈ

This OEM-grade clutch cover (pressure plate) restores firm pedal feel and clean power transfer in Subaru manual cars. It clamps the clutch disc to the flywheel so engine torque reaches the gearbox without slip. Built to factory height and leverage, it keeps engagement smooth in daily driving and spirited runs.

Why this part is needed

Over time the diaphragm spring weakens and friction surfaces glaze. The result is delayed bite, a higher engagement point, and heat spots. A fresh Subaru clutch cover stabilizes clamp load, protects the flywheel, and prevents costly drivetrain stress.

How it works

A diaphragm spring inside the cover presses the disc against the flywheel. When you press the pedal, the release bearing lifts the spring, freeing the disc to shift gears. Balanced straps and a rigid cover spread force evenly, cutting chatter and vibration at high RPM.

What happens if it fails ❗

Expect slipping under boost, burning smell, shudder on takeoff, hard shifts, or pedal pulsation. Severe wear can warp the flywheel, damage the disc and release bearing, and even cause loss of drive. Fuel use rises and acceleration drops.

Install notes ️

Resurface or replace the flywheel, align the disc, and torque bolts in a star pattern to spec. Degrease faces, inspect the release bearing and fork, and use new hardware if required.
