How it works
A spring‑centered joystick and L/R selector send low‑current signals through the internal PCB to the door mirror motors. When you nudge the stick, momentary contacts route 12V to the up/down/left/right motor circuits, then return to neutral for accurate stops.
What happens if it’s broken
Mirror won’t move, only one axis works, one side dead, or moves intermittently. Backlight may fail and the knob can feel loose. You lose quick adjustment, grow blind spots, and risk unsafe lane changes, especially in rain or night driving.
