Why you need it

This seal keeps ATF inside the transmission and locks in hydraulic pressure. A tight pan-to-case joint prevents drips, dust ingress, and pressure loss, helping the unit shift smoothly and run cool. How it works

Built from heat- and ATF-resistant material with molded ribs, the gasket compresses evenly between clean, flat flanges. When torqued in a cross pattern to factory spec, it maintains clamping load through heat cycles, sealing the pan while the filter and magnets do their job. What happens if it’s broken
