Fuel Filter Cap Assembly ⛽
This component seals the top of the diesel fuel filter housing and locks the filter in place. It is needed to keep the fuel system airtight, maintain correct fuel pressure, and stop dirt or water from entering the injection system. A tight seal is critical on Toyota diesels, where even a small air leak can cause hard starting and rough running.
How It Works
The cap fastens onto the filter body and compresses the sealing ring. As fuel is drawn through the filter, the cap assembly keeps the flow stable while protecting the housing threads and internal passages.
